Jagan and Vijayamma resigns

Update: 2013-08-10 12:54 GMT
YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and party honorary president YS Vijayalakshmi on Saturday quit their MP and MLA posts protesting the move of Centre to divide the people of Andhra Pradesh. The resignation letters of both the leaders have been faxed to Lok Sabha secretary and Assembly Speaker.

YSR Congress party's remaining 16 MLAs and the single MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has already submitted their resignations. With this, YSRC became the first party in Seemandhra to show its 100 percent commitment to fight for the interests of people in the region.

YSR family is always in favor of keeping the state united and this is yet again proven with the recent resignations. The support for YSR Congress will grow immensely in Andhra and Rayalseema after the ruling Congress and main opposition TDP failed to safeguard the people's interests and respect their sentiments. No doubt, Jagan will be registering a clean sweep in the upcoming general elections in the Seemandhra region.
