Raai Laxmi Stuns in Blue Satin Glamorous Look with Bold Fashion Style

Born Lakshmi Rai on 5 May 1989 in Bangalore (raised in Belgaum), Karnataka, she began as a model before entering films. She made her acting debut in the 2005 Tamil film Karka Kasadara. Early roles followed in Tamil comedies and action films such as Kundakka Mandakka and Dharmapuri.

Her breakthrough came with the 2008 thriller Dhaam Dhoom, earning a Filmfare nomination. She found major success in Malayalam cinema opposite stars like Mohanlal and Mammootty in films including Rock n’ Roll, Annan Thampi, and Evidam Swargamanu. In Tamil, she stood out in Mankatha (2011) and the horror hit Kanchana (2011), later appearing in Aranmanai (2014). She entered Hindi cinema with Akira (2016) and took the lead in Julie 2 (2017).

Recent works include the dual-role horror Cinderella (2021), a special appearance in Bholaa (2023), and the Malayalam thriller DNA (2024) as IPS officer Rachel Punnoose. Ongoing and upcoming projects feature the Telugu film Janata Bar (2025), the Tamil thriller Wolf, and other titles such as Rowdy Baby and Yaar. With over two decades in the industry, Raai Laxmi continues to balance glamorous and performance-oriented roles across languages.
