A post arrives amid recent buzz linking Shivangi with veteran actor Govind Namdev. After a photo of the two went viral many assumed a personal relationship between them. However, Govind Namdev has clarified that the image was part of a planned publicity effort for their upcoming film, Gaurishankar Goharganj Wale. In an interview with ETimes, he explained, “When the film was being prepared, we had a discussion with the director, producer, and Shivangi about planning a strong publicity strategy. I agreed that it was necessary.”

Namdev further added that Shivangi took a more active role in the idea. “Shivangi insisted that we should have a romantic pairing, that the images needed to convey a certain chemistry. I agreed, but also asked what kind of content she had in mind. She said, ‘There’s a lot. Content matters most.’ I thought, fine, let’s do it,” he said.

Things turned sour when she posted the content in a way that wasn’t discussed. “She went ahead and tagged the film in a certain way without informing me. That’s where the misunderstanding started,” he revealed. Namdev concluded by saying, “I don’t want to get involved in unnecessary drama.” This clears up the confusion and shifts the focus back on their work.
