Priya Prakash Varrier Captures Hearts with Traditional Red Saree

Priya Prakash Varrier shared a graceful picture on Instagram. She wore a deep red saree with traditional patterns. She stood near a wooden doorway with her head slightly tilted and her look was complemented by a small red bindi on her forehead. The warm lighting in the picture gave a vintage and serene mood.

In the caption, she wrote in Malayalam, “ഇന്ത്യയിലെ വിവിധ നീലിമ സ്പന്ദനങ്ങളിൽ രസചാരുത…” The translation of her words hints at the beauty of different shades and emotions in India. She credited the picture to @ft.nomad.

Meanwhile Actress Priya Prakash Varrier recently spoke about losing big opportunities and facing constant criticism in the film industry. “There were people who predicted a big career for me. Some others advised me to not lose my personality to peer pressure from the industry. Some others told me to somehow adjust with the norms of the industry and compromise to survive in business,” said Priya. She also expressed her disappointment at being rejected by casting directors and filmmakers without even being called for an audition.

Priya has acted in both Malayalam and Tamil films. She rose to fame through her role in Oru Adaar Love, directed by Omar Lulu. Last year, she appeared in the Tamil film NEEK directed by Dhanush and in Ajith’s movie Good Bad Ugly. Her last Malayalam film was Mandakini which released last year.
