Meanwhile The Miss World 2025 festival commenced in Hyderabad, India, celebrating global unity and cultural diversity. Inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková, the event marks the 72nd edition of this esteemed beauty pageant .

Spanning from May 7 to May 31, the festival features a variety of cultural, spiritual and charitable activities. Participants from 108 countries engage in events such as the Talent Challenge, Head-to-Head Challenge and Beauty with a Purpose presentations.

This is the third time India hosts the Miss World pageant, with the grand finale scheduled at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad.
