Medha Shankr is glowing with joy in her latest Instagram post from the sets of Ginny Weds Sunny 2. Medha Shankr who gained appreciation for her role in 12th Fail, is now stepping into a lead role in Ginny Weds Sunny 2 alongside Madgaon Express actor Avinash Tiwary. Directed by Prasshant Jha and produced by Vinod Bachchan under Soundrya Production, the sequel is bringing a fresh chapter to the story. The original film premiered on Netflix in 2020 and starred Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey.

Talking about the sequel, the producers shared, “The love the first film received encouraged us to explore new narratives and characters, and with Avinash and Medha, we’ve found a refreshing and dynamic pairing.” The new film promises more romance, fun, and feel-good family moments.
