Sridevi, Ramanaidu, Bapu gets Padma Awards

Movie Moghal D Ramanaidu, veteran filmmaker Bapu and evergreen beauty actress Sridevi has been awarded the prestigious Padma awards by the Central Government for their services in the field of art. While Ramanaidu was chosen for the Padma Bhushan, Bapu and Sridevi will be receiving Padma Shree.
Other prominent personalities who would be conferred with Padma awards in the year 2013 are former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid (Padma Bhushan), Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore (Padma Bhushan) and Bollywood hero Rajesh Khanna (Padma Bhushan).
Padma Bhushan is the third highest civilian award and Padma Shree is the fourth highest civilian award in the Republic of India to recognize distinguished service of a high order to the nation in any field. Congratulations to all the Padma award winners in the year 2013!
