KCR MOU with Baby Products Company

Global pharmaceuticals and consumer packaged goods manufacturer Johnson and Johnson's is planned for manufacturing unit in Telangana with an investment of Rs.400 crore.Company representatives finalized the deal In a meeting with KCR.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will Thursday lay the foundation stone for the American multinational plant in Penjerla village in Mahabubnagar district, The plant will be in 60km away from city and have airport connectivity. The investment for the proposed plant is expected to be about Rs 400-450 crore in several phases. The company is expected to make consumer health care products, specially baby care & consumer goods products at the plant.
The plant is coming up on forty eight acres and will be functional from 2016 by employing 1500 workers. It will manufacture hygiene and consumer goods products. The unit is focused on manufacturing all types of goods to take on its rivals.
