KCR chooses road, Kodandaram prefers fast!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Aug 2013 8:28 AM GMTAs the Seemandhra agitations opposing the Telangana creation is intensifying, Telanganaites have been planning counter protests to exert pressure on the Centre to speed-up the process of bifurcation.
After holding a meeting with party leaders at his farm house in Medak, TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to tour the region and hold public rallies demanding the Centre to introduce the Telangana bill in the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament. As the monsoon sessions is likely to end next week, the pro-Telangana party even asked for an extension of sessions so that the T-bill could be moved in both the houses.
Telangana JAC chairman Kodandaram has announced that he would sit on fast at Indira Park in Hyderabad from Monday in protest to the remarks of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy supporting the United AP cause. He found fault with Kiran behaving like a leader belonging to one region and reiterated that agitations would continue across Telangana until the formation process ends.
