Jagan shifted to Osmania Hospital
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2013 8:00 PM GMTYSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy who has been fasting till the past five days protesting the bifurcation of the state base been shifted to Osmania Hospital at around 12 PM. Jagan who wore a vibrant red T-shirt got down from the bullet-proof vehicle without anyone's support and went into the hospital.
Jagan was asked to call off his fast by the officials as his health condition is deteriorating. However, the leader made it clear he will continue his protest.
Jail Authorities have chalked out a plan to on Thursday evening to shifted Jagan from Chanchalguda at any cost and the road leading to Osmania has been blocked completely for the same. Huge number of police forces have been deployed at Chanchalguda and an escort vehicle entered the jail premises at around 10:30 pm. Pilot vehicles came out of the prison at 11.50 pm and reached Osmania within few minutes.
Police have resorted to lathi-charge to control huge crowd which gathered at the hospital to catch a glimpse of Jagan. YSR Congress leaders have expressed their anguish on the government for not releasing the heath bulletin and attacking the supporters of their leader using the police force.
