However, Zaara's name has been making headlines for another reason as well as rumors about an alleged proposal from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. This sparked a lot of media attention and speculation regarding their relationship. Zara in her past interview clarified these rumors.

She explained that during the COVID lockdown, Chahal casually joked about the possibility of surprising everyone with a sudden marriage announcement. This led to misconceptions with some even claiming that Chahal had proposed to her during an Instagram live chat.
