Actor Wamiqa Gabbi recently shared a beautiful throwback picture on Instagram that instantly caught everyone’s attention. In the picture, Wamiqa is seen posing in clear green water surrounded by rocky cliffs.

While Wamiqa continues to impress on social media, her professional journey is moving strongly forward as well. She is currently in the news for her upcoming Tamil film DC, which has already created strong buzz after the release of its teaser. The teaser was released on Valentine’s Day, but instead of romance, it delivered intense visuals filled with blood, violence, and deep emotions.

In DC, Wamiqa plays the character Chandra. The teaser introduces her alongside Parvati, played by Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, and Devadas, played by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Even though the teaser has no dialogue, it clearly shows longing, danger, and emotional tension. Wamiqa’s presence stands out, especially in a scene where her character notices Devadas walking toward her.

The teaser also pays tribute to the famous Korean film Oldboy through a corridor fight sequence. Lokesh Kanagaraj is seen attacking gangsters in a narrow hallway, creating a raw and violent mood. The film is written and directed by Arun Matheswaran, and the background music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. His music has already become popular, with the title teaser crossing 2.5 million views in just one day.

Produced by Sun Pictures, DC is one of Wamiqa Gabbi’s most awaited projects in Tamil cinema.
