The intense, artistic shot captures her expressive power and growing presence as a compelling performer.Born on 29 September 1993 in Chandigarh, Wamiqa Gabbi began as a child artist with a brief role in the Hindi film Jab We Met (2007). She took her first lead in the coming-of-age drama Sixteen (2013) and built a strong base in Punjabi cinema through hits like Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 and the Nikka Zaildar series.

She expanded into South Indian films with Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam (Tamil) and Godha (Malayalam).Her breakthrough came in 2023 with the acclaimed series Jubilee and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya, which earned her a Filmfare OTT Award. She followed with Baby John (2024) opposite Varun Dhawan and the successful comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf (2025).Ongoing and recent projects include Pati Patni Aur Woh Do (2026) with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, Telugu spy thriller Goodachari 2, Tamil film DC, and the biopic Prahaar. Wamiqa continues to shine across languages with versatile, powerful roles.
