A trained Kathak dancer, she began as a child artist.She made her screen debut in the 2007 Hindi film Jab We Met, appearing briefly as Geet’s cousin opposite Kareena Kapoor. Her first leading role came in the 2013 coming-of-age drama Sixteen.
She rose to prominence in Punjabi cinema with comedies like Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 (2013) and the popular Nikka Zaildar series.Gabbi expanded southward with her Tamil debut in Maalai Naerathu Mayakkam (2016), Malayalam hit Godha (2017) opposite Tovino Thomas, and Telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju. Her career breakthrough arrived in 2023 with the acclaimed series Jubilee (as Niloufer) and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya, earning her a Filmfare OTT Award.Recent successes include Baby John (2024), Bhool Chuk Maaf (2025), Bhooth Bangla, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, and the Tamil film DC (2026) as Chandra. Ongoing projects feature Goodachari 2, Genie, Tiki Taka, and Prahaar.
