Vedhika made her acting debut in the Tamil film Madrasi (2006) opposite Arjun. She rose to prominence with the critically acclaimed period drama Paradesi (2013), directed by Bala, which earned her several awards for her powerful performance.

She has since worked across multiple industries in films such as Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), Shivalinga, James & Alice (2016), Kanchana 3 (2019), the Hindi thriller The Body, Home Minister (2022), Razakar, Fear and Petta Rap (2024), along with Gana and Gajaana (2025).

Upcoming projects include the multilingual Jungle (2026) and Vinodhan. With a career spanning Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi cinema, Vedhika continues to choose diverse roles while celebrating cultural moments like Onam with elegance.
