Born on 4 January 1994 in Hyderabad, Vaishnavi began her acting career with a supporting role in the 2018 Telugu film Touch Chesi Chudu. She gained early recognition through the popular web series The Software DevLOVEper (2020) and appeared in supporting parts in films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Tuck Jagadish, and Varudu Kaavalenu.

Her Tamil debut came with Valimai (2022) opposite Ajith Kumar. The major breakthrough arrived with the lead role in the romantic drama Baby (2023) opposite Anand Deverakonda, for which she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu and the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

She followed it with Love Me (2024) and Jack (2025). Latest Movie Epic – First Semester (2026) and other films as she continues to establish herself as a promising lead actress in Telugu and Tamil cinema.
