Born on January 4, 1994, in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Vaishnavi began as a YouTuber and content creator before entering acting. She made her film debut in Telugu with a supporting role in Touch Chesi Chudu (2018). She gained notice in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) as Allu Arjun's sister and starred in the web series The Software DevLOVEper (2020).

Her breakthrough came as the lead in the romantic drama Baby (2023) opposite Anand Deverakonda, earning her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu and SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. She debuted in Tamil with Valimai (2022) and appeared in Love Me (2024).

Recent projects include Jack (2025) with Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Looking ahead, she stars in EPIC - First Semester (releasing March 14, 2026), a Telugu film directed by Aditya Haasan.
