Born on August 23, 1988, in Delhi, Vaani Kapoor made her acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. She received critical acclaim and awards for her fresh performance as Tara. She later appeared in Befikre (2016), War (2019) opposite Hrithik Roshan, Bell Bottom (2021), the bold Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021) with Ayushmann Khurrana, and Shamshera (2022).

In recent years, she impressed in the ensemble comedy Khel Khel Mein (2024) and delivered a solid performance as Malini Patnaik in the hit Raid 2 (2025) alongside Ajay Devgn. She also made her OTT debut with the Netflix thriller series Mandala Murders (2025).

Currently, Vaani has several projects in her pipeline, including Aabeer Gulaal (also known as Abir Gulaal), the comedy-drama Badtameez Gill, and the social comedy Sarvagunn Sampanna.
