Vaani Kapoor radiates classic elegance in an intricately embroidered navy and gold lehenga-choli, her long wavy hair cascading over one shoulder under warm golden light. The image captures the poise and quiet confidence that have defined her screen presence for over a decade.

Born on 23 August 1988, Vaani made her acting debut in 2013 with Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, playing the free-spirited Tara opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. Her natural performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

She followed with the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Aaha Kalyanam (2014) and the Paris-set Befikre (2016) opposite Ranveer Singh. After a brief hiatus, she returned with a memorable role in the blockbuster action thriller War (2019) alongside Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Notable later films include Bell Bottom (2021), the critically appreciated Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021) where she played a transgender woman, Shamshera (2022), and Khel Khel Mein (2024).

In 2025 she appeared in Raid 2 opposite Ajay Devgn and made her OTT debut with the Netflix thriller series Mandala Murders. Upcoming projects include the social comedy Sarvagunn Sampann and Badtameez Gill.

From debut darling to versatile performer, Vaani Kapoor continues to choose roles that reflect both style and substance.
