Vaani Kapoor Stuns in a Shimmering Metallic Mesh Outfit

Born on 23 August 1988 in Delhi, Vaani Kapoor began her career in modeling before entering films. She made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, playing Tara opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. The film earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

She followed with the Tamil film Aaha Kalyanam (2014) and Befikre (2016) opposite Ranveer Singh. After a brief hiatus, she gained wider recognition with supporting roles in the blockbuster War (2019) and later films including Bell Bottom (2021), Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021), Shamshera (2022), and Khel Khel Mein (2024). In 2025, she appeared in the successful Raid 2 opposite Ajay Devgn and made her OTT debut in the popular Netflix thriller series Mandala Murders.

Ongoing projects include the social comedy Sarvagunn Sampann (set for ZEE5 release, where she plays a lead role exploring identity and societal labels) and Badtameez Gill. Some other completed films remain delayed. Vaani continues to balance glamorous roles with more challenging characters.
