Urmila Matondkar once again captured everyone’s attention with her recent Instagram post. The actress looked elegant in a shining silver saree designed by the popular fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Sharing her look from the Diwali bash, Urmila wrote, “Glitter.. Glamour.. Stars in all their Glory 🥰 @manishmalhotra05 Diwali bash 🤩✨.” Her post beautifully reflected the festive spirit and her love for timeless fashion.

In the photo, Urmila looked graceful in a silver embellished blouse paired with a soft, flowing saree. The chandelier-lit background and her calm pose made the picture even more adorable.

Urmila Matondkar is not only a talented actress but also a respected public figure. Born on 4 February 1974 in Mumbai, she began her acting journey as a child artist in the 1977 film Karm and later gained attention in Masoom. Her first major role as a lead actress came in the Malayalam film Chanakyan opposite Kamal Haasan. She made her Bollywood debut with Narsimha in 1991 and went on to become one of the most successful actresses of the 1990s.

Her breakthrough came with Rangeela directed by Ram Gopal Varma, which made her a household name. She later delivered memorable performances in films like Judaai, Satya, Kaun, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Bhoot, and Ek Hasina Thi. She has won several awards, including the Filmfare Award and the Nandi Award.

Apart from her film career, Urmila has also made her mark in television as a dance show judge and is active in social causes related to women and children. She joined politics in 2019 and is currently a member of the Shiv Sena party.
