Trisha Shetty Shares Fierce Instagram Moment

Trisha Shetty, a well-known Indian activist and lawyer, recently shared a photo on Instagram that caught the attention of her followers. In the picture, she is seen enjoying a horse ride by the sea during sunset, wearing a stylish dress that reflects her confident personality. She captioned the post, “yk you can’t sit with us.”

Born on 16 September 1990 in Mumbai, Trisha Shetty is widely recognized as the founder of SheSays, an organization started in 2015 to fight for gender equality and create safe spaces for women. Through SheSays, she has worked on issues like gender-sensitive laws, sexual violence prevention, and youth representation.

Her work has received international recognition. She has been honored by the United Nations, President Obama, Queen Elizabeth II, and President Emmanuel Macron for her contributions to human rights. Currently, she serves as the President of the Steering Committee of the Paris Peace Forum, where she works on global governance and peace initiatives.

Trisha Shetty has also been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and awarded the Vogue India Woman of the Year. She was a Queen’s Young Leader Awardee and even became part of the Obama Foundation Scholars at Columbia University.

In 2019, she shared her personal story of child sexual abuse in a powerful TED Talk titled “Embrace your scars, be your own hero.” This speech inspired many and highlighted her courage to turn personal struggles into a movement for change.
