Born on 4 May 1983 in Chennai, Trisha won the Miss Chennai title in 1999. She made her acting debut with a supporting role in Jodi (1999) and her first lead in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002). She rose to stardom with hits like Saamy and Ghilli (Tamil) and Varsham (Telugu), earning multiple Filmfare Awards South. Over two decades, she has delivered acclaimed performances in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, ’96, Ponniyin Selvan: I & II, and Leo. In 2025 she starred in Identity, Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly, and Thug Life. Upcoming projects include Karuppu (with Suriya) and Vishwambhara in 2026. Trisha continues to reign as one of South Indian cinema’s most enduring and versatile stars.
