Triptii Dimri, born on 23 February 1994 in New Delhi to a Garhwali family, has emerged as one of Bollywood’s most versatile and compelling actresses. Known for her expressive eyes and ability to portray emotionally nuanced characters, she first appeared in a minor role in Mom (2017) before making a proper debut in the comedy Poster Boys the same year. Her first lead role came with the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018), where she played the titular Laila opposite Avinash Tiwary and earned early critical notice. True recognition arrived with Anvita Dutt’s Bulbbul (2020), a Netflix period fantasy that won her a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actress.

She followed it with another layered performance in Qala (2022). Mainstream stardom exploded with her supporting turn as Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster Animal (2023), turning her into a national sensation. She then showcased range in 2024 comedies Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and delivered a strong performance in the socially themed Dhadak 2 (2025). In 2026 she starred in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo opposite Shahid Kapoor and the Netflix black comedy Maa Behen with Madhuri Dixit. Her most anticipated upcoming project is Spirit (2027), reuniting her with Vanga opposite Prabhas. Dimri continues to balance intense dramatic roles with commercial cinema, cementing her status as a rising force in Hindi films.
