Triptii Dimri Brings Back Lace Trend in Elegant Style

Amid strong competition from Saiyaara, Tripti Dimri Dhadak 2 hit cinemas on August 1, 2025. The audience response has been mixed but steady. The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. It is a remake of Mari Selvaraj’s Pariyerum Perumal (2018). It is also considered a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018). Shazia Iqbal directed the film. It opened with decent numbers but has experienced slow earnings during its first week. As per the makers, the movie has collected Rs 25.10 crore so far.

For viewers waiting to watch it at home, Dhadak 2 will be released on Netflix. The OTT partnership was announced with the theatrical release. The digital premiere is expected six to eight weeks after the cinema release. This means it may arrive between September 12 and September 26. The exact date is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
