Actress Triptii Dimri has once again impressed her fans with her latest Instagram update. She posted a picture in which she is seen wearing a graceful coffee-coloured gown. The elegant dress highlighted her charm and added a classic touch to her look.

Meanwhile not long after Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara, another romantic drama came to theatres. Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, released on August 1. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018) and also a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018).

The film deals with caste-based issues, showing how harsh realities can affect love and relationships. Both Triptii and Siddhant received praise for their powerful performances. Critics and audiences alike admired their bold portrayals and the strong storyline. However, despite the appreciation, the film did not perform well at the box office and was declared a flop.

Now, Dhadak 2 has found a new life on Netflix. After its OTT release, viewers have shared their opinions on social media. A large number of netizens praised the movie and called it a thought-provoking experience. One Twitter user wrote, “Dhadak 2 is a thought-provoking depiction of the reality of our society, a rarity in an era of larger-than-life cinema that ignores bitter truths under grand visuals. All the Saiyaarans and Animals should give it a watch.”

Another netizen said, “If you can take Pariyerum and rewrite it to #Dhadak2, Bollywood stands tall. A royal salute to the whole team of Dhadak. It is rare that a Bollywood remake is better than the original.”
