Born in Kolkata, Choudhury won the Clean & Clear Times of India Fresh Face contest in 2011. She made her acting debut in the Bengali mystery film Mishawr Rawhoshyo (2013), directed by Srijit Mukherji, playing Rini. She later entered television with the lead role of lawyer Swadheenta Ramakrishnan in Star Plus’s Dahleez (2016).

Her career spans Bengali, Telugu, and Hindi cinema and digital platforms. Notable works include Telugu films Surya vs Surya (2015) and Manasuku Nachindi (2018), plus popular web series Bandish Bandits (2020) as Sandhya and Aashram (2020–2025) as Babita. Recent and ongoing projects feature Dil Dosti Aur Dogs (2025), the crime thriller So Long Valley (as Inspector Suman Negi), Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (2025), and Aakhri Sawal (2026).
