Nargis has been a part of several major film projects over the years. In 2016, she made a special appearance in the Tamil film Saagasam. She performed in the song “Desi Girl” with actor Prashanth. The song was choreographed by Raju Sundaram and featured many background dancers.

Later that year, she acted in the sports drama Azhar. The film also starred Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai. Nargis played the role of actress Sangeeta Bijlani. The movie was based on the life of cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. It explored his career, marriage, and the match-fixing controversies. Critics had mixed views about her performance. Some said she was pleasant on screen, while others found her expressions limited. The movie did moderately well at the box office.

Nargis next appeared in Housefull 3. She played a rich and carefree woman who falls in love with a con man. Reviews for her performance were mostly negative, but the film was a big commercial success. She also appeared briefly in Dishoom, where she played a small but memorable role.

In 2025, Nargis acted opposite Akshay Kumar in Housefull 5. The film was released in two versions with different endings.
