Tanya made her acting debut in 2018 with the web series School Days and gained popularity with Flames (2018) opposite Ritvik Sahore. Her breakthrough came portraying Lata Mehra in Mira Nair's acclaimed A Suitable Boy (2020). She entered films with Mumbaikar (2023) and shone in the action thriller Kill (2023) as Tulika Singh. Other notable works include Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, P.I. Meena, and the hit Amazon MX Player series Loot Kaand (2025), where she played Latika Mitra, earning widespread praise and awards recognition.
Currently, Tanya has relocated to Mumbai for exciting opportunities. Ongoing and upcoming projects include The Pickle Factory, collaborations like an untitled film with Rajkummar Rao on India's education system directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, and a rumored project opposite Junaid Khan under Aamir Khan Productions.
