Meanwhile Tanishaa Mukerji spoke about recent claims made about the film ‘Saiyaara’. A podcast guest claimed that young people were paid to cry in theatres to promote the film. They said the makers gave Rs 500 each to the audience. Tanishaa dismissed these claims.

She said, “This is just another round of pointless Bollywood bashing.” She added that the emotions in the film were real. She said young viewers truly felt moved by the story. She wanted people to respect honest reactions. She praised the connection it built with young viewers.
