Tamannaah Bhatia is now one of the leading actresses in South Indian films. But her start in the industry was not smooth. In an open talk with The Lallantop, the Baahubali actress spoke about the problems she faced as a newcomer. She entered the film world at a very young age. She soon realised that female actors are often treated as replaceable. �This hit me very early,� she said. This early lesson shaped how she saw the industry and its ways.

She also remembered an incident from her early career. She was cast with a big South Indian hero. During the shoot, a scene made her feel uneasy. �I told them I was not okay to do it,� she recalled. Her choice to speak up was not welcomed. The hero felt insulted. He even told the makers to replace her with another actress.

Tamannaah Bhatia starred in the Telugu supernatural thriller Odela 2 in 2025 which is directed by Ashok Teja. She portrayed an ardent Shiva devotee. She also performed the special song "Nasha" in the Hindi crime thriller film Raid 2. She also stars alongside Diana Penty in the forthcoming Amazon Prime series Will You Be My Partner. She will also be seen in Romeo, an action thriller with Shahid Kapoor.
