Actress Tamannaah Bhatia Has Nothing To Wear?
She said the actor’s defense supported the normalization of harassment in cinema.

Dressed in a stylish black dress, Tamannaah looks adorable while holding a red ball. Her caption read, “That’s 10 years of ‘I have nothing to wear’ solved in one store. #10WithHMIndia @hm.” The photo quickly went viral, with fans and celebrities like Kiara Advani reacting to it.
The post celebrated Tamannaah’s collaboration with the popular clothing brand H&M India. Her fashion sense has always been admired, and this post once again proved why she is known as one of the most stylish actresses in the industry. The picture was shot under the visual direction of Tarun Kalyani, with photography assistance by Rakovina Izho.
While Tamannaah’s Instagram is filled with glamour, her recent statements during an interview with The Lallantop sparked discussions online. The actress addressed film critic Anna MM Vetticad’s 2015 article, The Rape of Avanthika, which criticized a controversial scene from Baahubali: The Beginning. The scene involved her character Avanthika being forcibly transformed by the male lead. Tamannaah defended the scene, saying it represented the “divine feminine” and was about “self-discovery through love.”
However, Anna Vetticad disagreed, calling Tamannaah’s comments an example of “internalised misogyny.” She said the actor’s defense supported the normalization of harassment in cinema.
Apart from this discussion, Tamannaah recently opened up about her most nerve-wracking experience at the Filmfare Awards. She recalled performing to the song Chammak Challo while Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was in the audience. She admitted she almost backed out due to nervousness, but later described the performance as one of the most memorable moments of her career.
