Born Karenjit Kaur Vohra, Sunny Leone rose to fame in the adult entertainment industry before making her sensational Bollywood debut in 2012 with Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller Jism 2. The film marked her entry into mainstream Indian cinema, followed by hits like Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela, and special appearances in tracks such as “Laila” from Shootout at Wadala.

Over the years, she has explored diverse roles across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema, including the critically noted performance in Anurag Kashyap’s Kennedy. Her career has evolved from glamorous item numbers to substantial acting turns, while she also ventured into reality TV and entrepreneurship.

Currently, Sunny is expanding her horizons with exciting ongoing projects. She recently appeared in the Telugu film Trimukha and is set for her Malayalam debut with Rangeela, followed by Shero. She will feature in the Hindi film Helen and a special song in The Battle of Bhima Koregaon. On the international front, she has wrapped an independent Hollywood film portraying a UN peacekeeping soldier and joined the US series The Giant as a reservation sheriff. She is also involved in India’s first AI feature film Kaur vs Kore (2026).
