Actress Sonia Rathee, known for Broken But Beautiful and Tara vs Bilal, is not only making waves in films but also ruling Instagram with her fashion sense, flawless nails, and chic looks.
Sonia Rathee, born on December 25, 1996, in Hisar, Haryana, is an Indian-American actress, model, and dancer. She studied at Boston University before starting her acting career. Sonia made her debut in 2020 with the YouTube short film Shaadi Aaj Kal: A Wedding Story by FilterCopy.
Her breakthrough came in 2021 with the romantic drama Broken But Beautiful 3 on ALTBalaji, where she starred opposite late actor Sidharth Shukla. Her performance as Rumi Desai received wide appreciation and even earned her a nomination for “Best Actress in a Web Series” at the International Iconic Awards.
That same year, she appeared in Netflix’s comedy Decoupled alongside R. Madhavan and Surveen Chawla. In 2022, Sonia made her Bollywood debut with Tara vs Bilal, produced by John Abraham. She also featured in the popular music videos Chamkeela Chehra by Badshah and Sarkaare by King.
In 2025, Sonia played Madhu in the horror-comedy Kapkapiii and is set to appear in the upcoming film Bhai Bhai with Esha Gupta and Maniesh Paul. Apart from acting, she’s a talented dancer and runs a YouTube channel featuring her dance covers.
