Sonia Rathee Soaks in Sun and Sea Moments

Sonia Rathee is once again catching attention on social media with her latest Instagram post. Along with the image, she wrote a simple and cheerful caption, “My favorite time of the year ”.

In the photo, Sonia is seen wearinga purple beach dress, standing under a bright blue sky with the sea in the background. She is wearing stylish sunglasses and smiling softly, which gives a calm and happy vibe.

Before entering acting, Sonia completed her education in Finance and Marketing from a college in Boston. She even worked in the finance field in New York for a short time. But her passion for acting brought her to India, where she started her journey in the entertainment world.

She became popular with her role as Rumi Desai in the web series Broken But Beautiful Season 3. Her performance was loved by many viewers. She also appeared in the Netflix series Decoupled, where she played the role of Masha alongside actor R. Madhavan. These roles helped her gain recognition and build a strong fan base.

Sonia made her film debut with Tara vs Bilal in 2022, which was produced by John Abraham. She has also been part of music videos, including Badshah’s “Chamkeela Chehra”. Recently, she appeared in the film Kapkapiii (2025), showing her continued growth in the industry.

Apart from acting, Sonia is a trained dancer and also knows Spanish very well. She comes from a talented family, as her brother Ankur Rathee is also a known actor.
