Sonam Kapoor’s Golden Glow: Family Wedding Magic & Bollywood Comeback

In a breathtaking beige-gold custom Anamika Khanna ensemble, complete with intricate embroidery, heavy traditional jewellery, and sparkling Fizzy Goblet shoes, Sonam Kapoor radiated grace in a recent family wedding photo. Styled by sister Rhea Kapoor and team, with flawless hair and makeup by Alpa Khimani and Namrata Soni, the actress captioned it: “Such a wonderful few days.. nothing like a family wedding.” The elegant shot, captured by Sarang Gupta, perfectly captures her love for fashion and family moments.

Daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam made her acting debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya (2007) opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Though the film flopped commercially, her performance earned critical acclaim. She found commercial success with I Hate Luv Storys (2010) and delivered memorable roles in Raanjhanaa, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and the critically acclaimed Neerja (2016), for which she won a National Film Award. Blockbusters like Sanju (2018) and Veere Di Wedding further cemented her status.

After welcoming her second son in March 2026, Sonam has embraced motherhood while hinting at exciting comebacks. She is set to star in Battle for Bittora and other meaningful projects focused on strong female leads.
