Sonam Bajwa, the radiant Punjabi superstar turned Bollywood sensation, dazzled at the 24th Zee Cine Awards 2026 (For @zeecineawards) in a breathtaking pastel peach gown featuring floral-embellished corsetry, sheer sequined fabric, and a flowing draped skirt. With her wavy tresses, glowing makeup, and elegant jewelry—including a statement rose-gold necklace and bracelet—she exuded grace and glamour on the red carpet, captivating photographers and fans alike with her poised charm and confident presence.

Born on August 16, 1989, in Uttarakhand, Sonam participated in Femina Miss India 2012 before debuting in acting. Her movie debut was in Punjabi cinema with the romantic comedy Best Of Luck (2013) opposite Gippy Grewal, followed by her Tamil debut in Kappal (2014). She rose to fame in Pollywood with blockbusters like Punjab 1984 (2014), Sardaar Ji 2 (2016), Nikka Zaildar series, Carry on Jatta 2 (2018), and Ardab Mutiyaran (2019), establishing herself as a leading lady with strong screen presence and box-office pull.

She ventured into Telugu with Aatadukundam Raa (2016) and made early Bollywood appearances in Street Dancer 3D (2020).Her full Hindi transition came in 2025 with Housefull 5 (as Zara Akhtar), Baaghi 4 (opposite Tiger Shroff), and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, achieving a rare hat-trick of ₹100 crore+ grossers in her debut year.

Kicking off 2026, she starred in the epic Border 2 (as Manjit Kaur Sekhon) opposite Diljit Dosanjh, which became a massive hit.Ongoing projects include potential Punjabi ventures like Ranna Ch Dhanna and Nikka Zaildar 4, as she continues her pan-India dominance with more Bollywood opportunities on the horizon, solidifying her status as a versatile, high-demand star.
