The minimalist shot highlights her natural poise and fitness, reflecting the modern, grounded image she brings to the screen.Born Sonampreet Bajwa on 16 August 1989 in Nainital, Uttarakhand, she graduated from the University of Delhi, worked briefly as an air hostess, and participated in Femina Miss India 2012 before turning to acting.

She made her debut in the Punjabi film Best of Luck (2013). Her breakthrough came with Punjab 1984 (2014) opposite Diljit Dosanjh, establishing her as a leading lady in Punjabi cinema.She went on to star in major hits including Sardaar Ji 2, the Nikka Zaildar series, Manje Bistre, Carry on Jatta 2, Ardab Mutiyaran (for which she won a PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress), Honsla Rakh, and Godday Godday Chaa. She has also worked in Tamil (Kappal) and Telugu films. In recent years she expanded into Hindi cinema with Housefull 5 (2025), Baaghi 4 (2025), Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat (2025), and upcoming projects such as Border 2 (2026) and Pitt Siyapa.
