Born on 23 December 1990 in Mumbai, Sonali began as a model and became a Kingfisher Calendar Girl in 2010 at just 19. She made her Bollywood acting debut in 2014 with the romantic thriller The Xposé, playing Zara Peter Fernandes opposite Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh. She later appeared in a special role in Great Grand Masti (2016) for the popular song “Lipstick Laga Ke.”

Beyond films, she has featured in web series such as Dangerous (2020) and Love, Life & Screw Ups. A former contestant on Bigg Boss 8, she more recently participated in Bigg Boss Marathi 6 in 2026. With a project titled Useless Fellows currently in pre-production, Sonali continues to balance modelling, acting, and her bold public presence.
