Born in 1987, Sonal Chauhan began as a model and beauty pageant winner (Miss World Tourism 2005). She made her acting debut in 2008 with the Hindi film Jannat as Zoya Mathur opposite Emraan Hashmi, and the Telugu film Rainbow.

She went on to appear in films across languages, including Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap (2011), 3G (2013), Telugu hits like Legend (2014) and Pandaga Chesko (2015), Dictator (2016), Paltan (2018), The Ghost (2022), and Adipurush (2023) as Mandodari.

In 2026, she starred as Mumtaz Bibi in Mirzapur: The Movie and made her Punjabi debut with Shera. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Sonal continues to charm audiences with her versatile presence on screen.
