Shruti Haasan recently revealed how she became part of Coolie. She explained that it happened while she was working with Lokesh on the song Inimel. She said, “During the final discussions for ‘Inimel,’ Lokesh came over to look at the vision board for the song and casually mentioned Coolie. He hinted that he planned to narrate the script to me soon. I had to patiently finish post-production on my music video before I finally heard the story. I was incredibly excited to work with a filmmaker like Lokesh, but even more so for the opportunity to act alongside Rajini sir; an absolute dream.”
