While excited to watch the first day, first show, she had an amusing encounter with a security guard who didn't recognize her. In a hilarious video shared by rapper Yung Raja, Shruti pleaded with the security guard, saying, "I’m in the movie. Please allow me, anna (brother). I am the heroine, sir." Her polite and respectful tone cracked everyone up, including the security guard, who eventually let her in. The incident quickly went viral, with fans praising Shruti for her humility and charm.

Her role in Coolie has been widely appreciated. Playing Preethi alongside Rajinikanth and other stars like Nagarjuna and Upendra, Shruti has earned praise for her performance in this action-packed film. Released on August 14, 2025, the film was a box-office hit, grossing ₹150 crore on its opening day alone.
