Shruti Haasan recently opened up about the nuanced behaviour of South Indian film stars. She spoke about how different they are in personal life compared to public appearances. The actress is preparing for the release of her film Coolie with Rajinikanth. She was last seen in Salaar with Prabhas. Having worked with many top stars, she explained why they behave humbly in public. In a podcast conversation, Shruti said, “They believe that it will all go away if they aren’t humble.” She explained that humility is sometimes not about real personality. She said it is often a choice made out of fear of losing success.

Shruti also said that there is fear in such actors. She explained, “So, you’ll see the biggest of stars not take it for granted. They have to stay humble. For the sake of success, they stay humble that is the keyword. They feel that Saraswati ka haath hat jayega, and there is a great humility in the face of the business of art, art, and artistry.”
