Born on 29 August 1988 in Hyderabad, Shreya began her journey as a model after reaching the finals of Femina Miss India 2008. She made her acting debut in Telugu cinema with Josh (2009) and followed it with Sneha Geetham (2010). Her Bollywood debut came in 2019 with the Emraan Hashmi starrer Why Cheat India.

She rose to fame with powerful performances in critically acclaimed web series like Scam 1992 (as journalist Sucheta Dalal), The Family Man (as Zoya), Mumbai Diaries, and Guns & Gulaabs. On the big screen, she impressed in Looop Lapeta (2022) and Chup: Revenge of the Artist (2022). In 2024, she starred in the horror film Adbhut.

As of 2026, her ongoing and upcoming projects include the JioHotstar film The Great Shamsuddin Family (released December 2025) and the much-awaited Nausikhiye.
