Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary has shared an adorable pic from the beautiful Sails in the Desert Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort. The picture shows Shreya enjoying a sunny day by the pool. She is dressed in a brown dress and looks radiant and full of life as she walks along the poolside. The clear blue water behind her creates a stunning contrast with the red desert landscape of Australia. In her caption, Shreya wrote, “Blue Pool. Red Desert.”

Beyond her travel posts, Shreya has recently been in the news for speaking openly about film censorship in India. She strongly criticized the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after it removed a 33-second kissing scene from the Hollywood movie Superman in its Indian version. Shreya called the decision “absolute nonsense,” pointing out that audiences today deserve more creative freedom.

According to her, treating viewers like children only weakens the theatre experience. Her honest opinion started a fresh conversation about how over-censorship may be pushing more people toward OTT platforms.

In another recent interview, Shreya reflected on her acting journey and personal challenges. Even after earning praise for her work in Scam 1992 and The Family Man, she confessed that the fear of failure still stays with her. She shared that every role she takes feels like starting from zero. Shreya said she chooses characters who are very different from her own personality as she loves to explore emotions she doesn’t naturally relate to.
