Born on August 29, 1988, in Hyderabad, Shreya started her career with the Telugu film Josh (2009) and made her official Telugu acting debut in Sneha Geetham (2010). She entered Bollywood with Why Cheat India (2019) and gained massive acclaim for her powerful performance as journalist Sucheta Dalal in the web series Scam 1992 (2020), earning critical praise and award nominations.

She delivered memorable roles in The Family Man (as Zoya), Mumbai Diaries 26/11, Looop Lapeta (2022), Chup: Revenge of the Artist (2022), Guns & Gulaabs, and the horror film Adbhut (2024). In 2025, she appeared in The Great Shamsuddin Family as Iram.

Currently, Shreya is gearing up for an exciting all-women-centric film directed by Anusha Rizvi (of Peepli Live fame), currently in post-production, along with other promising projects that showcase her range as an actress, writer, and director.
