Actor Shreya Dhanwanthary once again caught attention with her latest Instagram photo. In the picture, Shreya is seen sitting gracefully in a black lace dress styled with simplicity and elegance. Along with the picture, she wrote a caption that credits Black Lace by Bharat Rawail and also mentions Jinal P Nagda and Ladyatplay Tarsha.

Shreya Dhanwanthary’s journey in the entertainment industry has never been about loud glamour or chasing constant visibility. Instead, she has focused on meaningful work. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, she spoke openly about how screen time has never been her priority. According to her, what matters more is the impact a role leaves behind. She cited The Family Man as an example, where even limited appearances helped her character connect strongly with viewers.

Talking about her career, Shreya shared that every role she has played has changed her as a person. She believes acting is not just about performance but about stepping into unfamiliar emotional spaces. She has always looked for characters that are very different from who she is in real life. This choice, she says, helps her grow both personally and professionally.

Recently, Shreya appeared in The Great Shamsuddin Family, which marked a shift from her usual intense and dramatic roles.

Shreya also spoke about her background, sharing that she did not grow up in India and originally followed an engineering path. Acting was never planned, but the moment she stepped onto a film set, she felt a strong sense of belonging. Her real turning point came with Scam which opened new creative doors and helped her explore varied storytelling styles.

Shreya Dhanwanthary was last seen in The Family Man Season 3, where she played the role of spy agent Zoya.
