Based in Hyderabad, Shivani earned wide appreciation for her role as Khathyayani in the film Little Hearts. The character stayed with people long after the movie ended and many still call her Khathyayani even today. That itself shows how deeply the role connected with the audience.
In her recent Instagram post, Shivani looks graceful and cheerful. She is seen smiling warmly, wearing a beautiful traditional outfit in soft pastel shades. The outfit was styled by Bharath Gandhi, while the dress was designed by Reina Hyderabad. The jewellery was provided by Necheli Official, and the photo was captured by photographer Sai Charan Teja Reddy.
Shivani’s journey into cinema was not planned from the beginning. As a child, she was more interested in fashion and music. She loved sketching lehenga designs and enjoyed dressing up. Coming from a musical family, she also learned classical music and Kuchipudi dance. If acting had not happened, she believes she might have chosen music or fashion as a career.
Academically, Shivani completed her graduation in BCom and later earned a master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. During her studies, she was introduced to filmmaking. Her first acting opportunity came unexpectedly when she auditioned for a short film titled Anthargatha in 2018. This small project opened the doors to bigger opportunities.
Her big break came with Ambajipeta Marriage Band, which marked her debut as a lead actress. Later, Little Hearts became a turning point. The film was loved by audiences of all age groups, not just youth. Shivani was surprised to see elderly people enjoying the film in theatres. The song “Khathyayani” also became a viral trend on social media, with many fans recreating it in their own way.
