Born on August 24, 1994, in New Delhi, Shivangi began her journey as a contestant (and runner-up) on Nach Baliye Season 6 (2013). She transitioned into acting with TV shows like Hamari Sister Didi (as Meher), Bhutu, TV, Biwi aur Main, and notably Choti Sarrdaarni, earning awards including the Film Affair Award for Best Actress. Her early work also included music videos such as Terre Pyaar Mein with Himesh Reshammiya.
Shivangi made her film debut in a supporting role in Black Rose (2020) as Aayesha. She gained wider attention with a cameo item song in the Tamil film Pichaikkaran 2 (2023). Her Bollywood breakthrough came with Badass Ravikumar (2025), where she played Prabhu Deva’s girlfriend in the Himesh Reshammiya starrer.
Currently, she is expanding her horizons with diverse projects. These include the Kannada thriller Terror (2026), web series like Yeh Hai Sanak, Hasratein (Season 3), and Ek Anchaahi Jalan. She is also shooting her full-fledged Hindi film debut in the comedy Gaurishankar Goharganj Wale opposite veteran actor Govind Namdev, along with other films and an item song in Zila Gorakhpur.
