Shirley shared, “ISLAND is very close to me. I have faced skin problems, stress, and the need to always look perfect. That made me want to do something honest.”

She explained that she joined every step of the brand’s journey. “From the beginning ideas to testing the products, I was involved,” she said. Shirley also added, “I have sensitive skin and often get breakouts while traveling. So I wanted ISLAND to be simple and calm, just like I needed.”
